Find Out How We Are Responding To The COVID-19 Pandemic

Find out how we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic

Covid-19 has been tough for many individuals and businesses as we all deal with the shutdown of indoor and outdoor events, concerts, restaurants, pubs, gyms, weddings, parties and the list goes on.  However, during this time of enormous strain, we would like to inform you that Romax is trading business as usual. We want to let all our customers know that we’re continuing to offer Premium Quality Disposable Drinkware and Biodegradable Drinkware.

We have been focusing on moving forward.

We want to make people aware that Romax is completely Australian Made.  As per our previous blog post, all of our products are made locally in Sydney.  We do not source nor manufacture any of our products from overseas.  This helps ensure that any Romax product is free from any potential contaminant threat.  This also ensures that there is no waiting period of weeks or even months on end for goods to arrive from overseas.

At present the COVID-19 virus has not impacted our ability to manufacture and supply to our customers.  We will continue to monitor this situation as time goes by and we will provide updates of any changes as they occur via our website here at romax.com.au.

We have been monitoring the situation regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our city of Sydney.  We have proactively taken precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees and customers.

We are guided by the recommendations from the Federal Government to include, but not limited to the following:-

  • Real time monitoring of advice from the Federal Government and relevant health authorities
  • We require that employees or contractors who have returned from international travel to self-isolate for 14 days
  • Replacing as many face-to-face meetings, as possible with other digital modes of communications
  • Deferring non-essential visitors and contractors from entering our premises in Sydney

A socially safe reminder

As restrictions ease, most Australian states are moving to the next phase of our coronavirus pandemic journey, with some public spaces reopening, larger public gatherings permitted and an increase in the size of our social groups.  We must keep in mind that it does not mean this pandemic is over, although it is an indication of how well we have done to control the spread of COVID-19 in Australia. There is still a long way to go, and it’s everyone’s responsibility to limit or minimise the chances of the coronavirus spreading.
